Designed for the demanding requirements of Land Mobile Radio synchronization, SecureSync® ensures precise time and frequency alignment crucial for simulcast systems like police radio communications. This platform serves as a direct replacement for older Ageless® Master Oscillators (models 8194/95/97) and can be tailored to meet specific system needs.
Key Features:
- Multiple prioritized input references including GPS, PTP, and internal sources
- Internal precision timing via OCXO or Rubidium oscillators
- Modular support for diverse output signals
- Built-in NTP server with optional PTP master/slave functionality
- Precise frequency references for carrier accuracy
- Synchronized CTCSS outputs and configurable 1PPS offsets
- Telecom frequency and data rate synchronization capabilities
Detailed Description:
SecureSync® integrates Orolia’s precision master clock technology within a rugged, compact, and modular chassis designed for critical land mobile radio and simulcast applications. The system’s modularity allows up to six input/output modules to be added, adapting to precise operational requirements. The base unit delivers an extremely accurate 1PPS timing signal perfectly aligned with a 10 MHz frequency signal without phase discontinuity.
The platform offers a range of internal oscillators—typically GPS-locked—to provide holdover and low phase noise as required. Configurable option cards expand input and output timing signal types, supporting frequencies such as 10 MHz, 5 MHz, synchronized CTCSS, additional 1PPS signals, various time codes (IRIG, ASCII, HaveQuick), telecom rates (1.544 MHz, 2.048 MHz), T1/E1 data rates, and both NTP and PTP network protocols.
Supporting advanced synchronization protocols, SecureSync complies with the latest precision time protocol (PTP, IEEE-1588v2) and network time protocol (NTP) standards. Power options include AC, DC, or AC with DC backup for enhanced reliability.
Built as a security-hardened network appliance, SecureSync meets stringent security standards, allowing selective enabling or disabling of features per network policies. Installation is streamlined with DHCP (IPv4), AUTOCONF (IPv6), and an intuitive front-panel keypad and display.
