The IE200 Series wire-speed Layer 2 switches are purpose-built for industrial Ethernet applications. Designed to operate in extreme environments with temperatures ranging from -40°C to 75°C, these switches ensure reliable performance in both industrial and outdoor settings.
Device Management
Management is made simple through standard interfaces such as CLI, SNMP, Telnet, and SSH. Allied Telesis’ Autonomous Management Framework (AMF) further enhances ease of use by streamlining device provisioning, configuration backup, recovery, and firmware upgrades.
Performance
These robust switches meet the demanding requirements of industrial networks, offering features such as:
- Port-based VLANs and IEEE 802.1p QoS
- Port trunking/link aggregation and port mirroring
- Priority queues and IEEE 802.1X security support
With support for up to 2K MAC addresses, the IE200 Series is suitable for scalable and manageable network solutions.
Security at the Edge
Advanced security protocols, including IEEE 802.1X, ensure only authorized users gain access. Unauthorized users can be segmented into isolated areas of the network, protecting sensitive data while allowing limited guest access.
Flexible Uplink Options
The IE200 Series supports both Gigabit and Fast Ethernet SFPs, allowing a smooth transition from legacy systems to newer gigabit infrastructures, aligning with long-term network upgrade strategies.
High Network Resiliency
The switches support rapid network recovery of less than 50ms using mechanisms like Ethernet Protection Switched Ring (EPSR) and ITU-T G.8032 standards to ensure continued operation during failures.
Power & Reliability
Dual power inputs offer redundancy and improve system reliability. These inputs are safeguarded against reverse polarity and overcurrent, ensuring safe and uninterrupted power supply.
PoE Power Budget Management
Although IE200-6FT does not include PoE ports, the IE200 Series overall supports configurable PoE budgets and per-port limits on applicable models, making it easier to align with external PSU capabilities.
