SecureSync® is a compact, modular 1RU NTP appliance that combines Spectracom’s precise GPS master technology with secure network management. It supports over 7,500 NTP requests per second and the latest NTPv4 functions. Flexible and scalable, it can operate as a stratum-1 or stratum-2 server and expand via option modules.
Option modules add multiple Gigabit Ethernet ports for isolated LANs and provide PTPv2 support with configurable master/slave or grandmaster modes. Physical sync outputs like 10 MHz and 1PPS can be added for redundancy or cross-boundary sync.
SecureSync enhances reliability with multi-GNSS support (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou), multiple timing references, and selectable internal oscillators (TCXO, OCXO, Rubidium). It features tamper-proof, security-hardened management with extensive logging, DHCP/IPv6 support, a front-panel interface, CLI, and a web UI for easy configuration and sync monitoring.
It also supports NTP over Anycast, allowing the device to advertise an Anycast IP and withdraw if reference issues arise, ensuring robust and secure network time synchronization.
