The Cisco IP Phone 8800 Key Expansion Module (KEM) enhances the functionality of Cisco IP Phone 8851, 8861, and 8865 models by adding 18 physical keys, expandable to 36 through two illuminated page buttons. Each key can be configured for directory numbers, speed dials, or programmable features, with illuminated indicators for quick line status visibility.
Up to three KEMs can be attached to the 8861 and 8865, and up to two with the 8851, offering flexible expansion. A large color LCD display provides easy identification of assigned buttons, with adjustable brightness settings for user preference.
Supplied with a foot stand and hardware for traditional side-by-side installation, the 8800 KEM is an excellent call coverage tool, ideal for managing multiple lines and features. While similar to DSS/BLF modules, it is not intended as an operator or attendant console.
