Product Overview
The Cisco Business 140AC Access Point delivers industry-leading wireless performance with support for IEEE 802.11ac Wave 2. It provides flexible wireless coverage for clients such as smartphones, tablets, and high-performance laptops with integrated 802.11ac Wave 1 or Wave 2 support.
Increased Wireless Performance and Coverage
This access point supports 802.11ac Wave 2 for higher performance, greater coverage, and higher-density networks. With simultaneous dual radios and dual bands with MU-MIMO functionality, it handles high-bandwidth devices and applications efficiently.
Integrated mesh technology enables simple and secure network expansion using Cisco Business wireless mesh extenders, which can be desktop, wall-mounted, or AC outlet–based.
Cisco Business Mobile App
Manage the network with the Cisco Business Mobile app, available for iPhone, iPad, and Android. Features include:
- Quickly add new mesh extenders using QR codes.
- Wireless network activation in minutes.
- Dynamic network configuration, including secure guest access.
- Real-time monitoring of network usage, traffic, and throughput.
Power over Ethernet
Powered via a single Gigabit Ethernet uplink using 802.3af PoE standard.

Flexible ceiling (including T-bar) or wall mounting. Mounting hardware included.
Maximum Clients
Maximum 200 clients per Wi-Fi radio, totaling 400 per access point, or up to 1000 in a system.
