The Avaya J100 Expansion Module enhances the Avaya J169 and J179 IP Phones by adding 24 programmable buttons for calls, autodial, contacts, or other features. It features a 4.3-inch color display (272 × 480 pixels) that reverts to grayscale on the J169. Up to three modules can be used per phone, supporting both desk and wall mounting. Each button includes a red/green status indicator, and the module offers three pages of buttons. Pre-configured backgrounds and screensavers match the base phone. Power is supplied via the IP phone (PoE class 2), with an external 5V supply required if three modules are attached to a J179. Fully compatible with H.323 and SIP, users can customize button assignments on Avaya Aura and approved third-party platforms.
