Capture Cloud Platform:

SonicWall’s Capture Cloud Platform offers cloud-based threat prevention, network management, reporting, and analytics. It consolidates intelligence from multiple sources, including the multi-engine Capture Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) sandbox and over 1 million SonicWall sensors worldwide.

Advanced Threat Protection:

The Capture ATP service extends firewall protection with a cloud-based multi-engine sandbox to detect and prevent zero-day threats. Suspicious files are sent to the cloud for deep learning analysis and can be held at the gateway until cleared. The sandbox includes RTDMI, virtualized sandboxing, full system emulation, and hypervisor-level analysis to evaluate file behavior. Malicious files are blocked, and a hash is immediately generated to update firewalls and prevent follow-on attacks. Capture ATP supports a wide range of file types, including executables, DLLs, PDFs, MS Office files, archives, JARs, and APKs.
