Advanced security features
SonicWall firewalls inspect all wireless traffic using deep packet inspection, eliminating malware and intrusions, even over encrypted SSL/TLS connections. Additional protection includes content filtering, application control, intelligence, and Capture Advanced Threat Protection (ATP). Capture ATP uses SonicWall’s Real-Time Deep Memory Inspection (RTDMI) to detect and block zero-day threats and unknown malware directly in memory, minimizing false positives and providing rapid threat mitigation. SonicWave APs can independently deliver advanced security services such as CFS and Capture ATP, even without an attached firewall.
