The Avaya IP500 Universal PRI 1 License initially supports 8 B-channels, allowing organizations to connect multiple digital voice channels immediately. Additional channels can be activated easily through Remote Feature Activation (RFA), providing flexibility as communication needs grow. Up to four of these licenses can be installed per IP500 control unit. The license is fully compatible with IP500 digital station, analog station, and VCM base cards, ensuring seamless integration across your IP Office infrastructure. It requires IP Office R4.1 or higher for proper operation.

The Avaya IP Office Single ISDN-PRI Daughter Card adds PRI trunk capability to an IP500 DS8, Analog Phone (2 or 8 port), or VCM card, enabling support for one T1, E1, or E1R2 trunk. Each port (9 and 10) supports T1 robbed bit, T1 PRI, E1 PRI, and E1R2 PRI modes for flexible connectivity.
