User Interface Features
The Trio 8800 features a 5-inch multitouch capacitive color LCD (720×1280 pixels, 9:16 ratio) with a gesture-based interface and on-screen keyboard. It includes USB 2.0 Type-A and Micro-B ports, integrated Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and three multicolored capacitive mute indicators. It supports Unicode UTF-8 characters.
Audio Features
Equipped with 3 cardioid microphones, it delivers loudspeaker frequency from 100 to 22,000 Hz with 92 dB peak volume at 0.5 meters and a 6-meter (20 ft) mic pickup range. Supported codecs include G.711, G.719, G.722 series, G.729AB, Poly Siren 7 & 14, iLBC, Opus, and SILK. The system uses Poly Acoustic Clarity technology for full-duplex conversations, echo cancellation, background noise suppression, and NoiseBlock™. Features also include voice activity detection, comfort noise, DTMF tone generation, Bluetooth pairing for wideband speech and streaming, low-delay packet transmission, adaptive jitter buffers, and packet loss concealment.
Call Handling
Supports up to three lines (including one Skype for Business or Microsoft Teams line). Features shared/bridged line appearance, distinctive incoming call treatment, call timer, call transfer/hold/divert/pickup, caller info display, local five-way conferencing, daisy-chaining up to three devices, one-touch speed dial, do-not-disturb, configurable dial plans, LDAP corporate directory access, and visual conference management.
Network and Provisioning
Compatible with Open SIP, Skype for Business*, Microsoft Teams*, and Zoom. Includes two-port gigabit Ethernet switch (LAN and PoE-out supporting IEEE 802.3af), Wi-Fi (2.4 & 5 GHz bands), DHCP/manual network setup, SNTP time sync, and central provisioning via FTP/TFTP/HTTP/HTTPS. Supports RealPresence Resource Manager (v10.1+), Poly Zero Touch Provisioning, QoS with VLAN tagging, LLDP-MED, VLAN discovery, and Wi-Fi multimedia (WMM).

FIPS 140-2 cryptographic module, 802.1X/EAPOL authentication, SRTP media encryption, TLS v1.2, encrypted configs, digest authentication, password login, secure provisioning, signed software support, and Wi-Fi encryption (WEP, WPA-Personal, WPA2-Personal/Enterprise with 802.1X).
Power
Built-in auto-sensing IEEE 802.3at PoE Device (Class 4) with backward compatibility to 802.3af. Also supports IEEE 802.3af power sourcing via LAN OUT port (requires Class 4 power input).
