The VelaSync™ 1232 is a high-speed time server designed for low-latency applications like high-frequency trading. It combines optimized timing protocols, Orolia’s precise GPS technology, and flexible commodity hardware for exceptional performance that meets evolving network demands.
Flexible, Reliable, and Secure Configuration
VelaSync 1232 offers a web-based interface to easily configure multiple time sources, ensuring resilience against GPS jamming, spoofing, network issues, and equipment failures. It supports backup setups—PTP can back up GPS, and NTP serves as cross-checks. Dual redundant hot-swap power supplies and 1TB hard drives ensure continuous operation. The system also supports STL technology to augment or replace GNSS signals indoors.
Smart Reference Monitoring
The server continuously validates all time references by comparing their phase offsets with the primary internal reference and each other. It calculates long-term averages and deviations to determine validity thresholds, preventing false status changes from minor fluctuations.
Robust Security
Security features include centralized authentication (LDAP, RADIUS, TACACS+), detailed activity logging, secure protocols (SSH, HTTPS), and regular updates. Critical vulnerability patches are promptly addressed to maintain platform integrity.
