Orolia TPRO/TSAT PCI Card Timecode Processors

Available models include the TPRO-PCI-66U, which syncs its onboard clock to IRIG signals, and the TSAT-PCI-66U, featuring GPS synchronization with an included receiver, antenna, and mounting accessories. Both support PCI and PCI-X buses, autodetect time code inputs, offer zero latency reads, IRIG-B generation, event capture, and programmable outputs.

Category:

The TPRO-PCI-66U is a PCI slot timecode reader/generator that automatically detects input formats (IRIG-B, IRIG-A, NASA36) and synchronizes accordingly. The TSAT version adds GPS sync with an included antenna/receiver. It supports external 1PPS input, zero-latency time reads, and universal 3.3V/5.0V signaling.

Featuring a 10 MHz oscillator, it maintains time (“freewheels”) when inputs are lost and resynchronizes automatically. Users can generate IRIG-B timecodes, set initial time via PCI, and compensate for cable delays. Additional functions include event time-tag inputs, programmable pulse outputs, alarms, and interrupt generation.

Supported by Spectracom’s driver packages, it enables interrupt-driven configurations and includes demo and clock synchronization utilities, making it adaptable for diverse timing applications.
