SecureSync® SAASM integrates Spectracom’s precise time and frequency technology with a secure Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module (SAASM) GPS receiver, meeting the Department of Defense’s mandate for SAASM compliance. It offers two receiver options: a 24-channel Miniature Ruggedized Unit (MRU) and a 12-channel Ground-Based GPS Receiver Application Module (GB-GRAM).

Designed for mission-critical military applications, SecureSync SAASM features a rugged, shock- and vibration-tested chassis compliant with MIL-STD-810F for environmental resilience. The base unit delivers an extremely accurate 1PPS timing signal synchronized with a 10 MHz frequency signal without phase discontinuity. Multiple internal oscillator options support various holdover and phase noise requirements.

Its modular design supports up to four additional input/output modules, allowing customization with various timing signals such as additional 1PPS, IRIG, ASCII, HaveQuick time codes, frequency outputs (10 MHz, 5 MHz, 2.048 MHz, 1.544 MHz), telecom T1/E1 data rates, multi-port NTP, and PTP. Custom modules can also be developed to meet specific military needs.

SecureSync SAASM is a security-hardened network appliance that ensures accurate timing from multiple references, tamper-proof management, and comprehensive logging. It supports robust network protocols for secure and flexible configuration, with features enabled or disabled per network policies. Installation is simplified by DHCP (IPv4), AUTOCONF (IPv6), and a front-panel keypad and display.

Housed in a 1 RU chassis, the system is powered via an IEC60320 AC connector, with DC power options available as primary or backup sources.
