The Model 8230AJ is a high-gain (40 dB) GNSS outdoor antenna supporting GPS L1, GLONASS L1, BeiDou B1, Galileo E1, and QZSS L1. It features a three-stage low noise amplifier, mid-section SAW filter, and tight pre-filter to prevent saturation from strong sub-harmonics and L-band signals.
Unlike the standard antenna, which receives signals from all sky angles, the Anti-Jam (AJ) version rejects low-elevation signals where most interference originates. This reduces satellite visibility but maintains timing accuracy by focusing on higher elevation satellites. With multi-constellation receivers, it ensures reliable performance with over 20 dB interference rejection, ideal for environments with rising GNSS interference from sources like communication towers or jammers.
