The DeviceNet Master Module enables a control system CPU to communicate over a DeviceNet network, supporting both data transmission and reception. It can serve as the master for up to 63 slave devices and can also be configured to function as a slave to another master on the same bus.
Designed for the GE Fanuc Series 90-30, this module facilitates I/O messaging and custom explicit messaging, with built-in server capabilities for automatic data exchange or custom communication when used in networks with a higher-level host computer.
Key Features
- Dual Functionality – Operates as a master for up to 63 slaves; can also act as a slave device.
- Flexible Communication – Supports both automatic and custom explicit messaging.
- I/O Capacity – 32 output points, arranged in four groups of eight.
- Network Compatibility – Works with all standard DeviceNet baud rates (125K, 250K, 500K).
