The Cisco Catalyst 1000 Series Switches are fixed managed Layer 2 enterprise-class switches, designed to meet the networking needs of small businesses and branch offices. These switches offer both Gigabit and Fast Ethernet connectivity and are ideal for critical IoT deployments and out-of-the-wiring-closet installations. Built on Cisco IOS® Software, they support intuitive management through a Command-Line Interface (CLI) and an on-box web user interface.
PoE+ Support for Simplified Deployments
Cisco Catalyst 1000 Series supports IEEE 802.3af (PoE) and IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) standards, delivering up to 30W per port. This eliminates the need for separate electrical wiring, reducing deployment costs for Cisco IP phones, Aironet and Catalyst wireless access points, and other PoE-compliant devices. The switches support up to 740W of dynamic PoE+ power, intelligently allocating power across ports based on device needs.
