Key Features of the 1830 Switch Series
PoE Support for Flexible Power Delivery
The 1830 Switch Series offers models with 8, 24, and 48 ports, supporting both non-PoE and Class 4 PoE. With up to 30W of power per port, these switches can efficiently support PoE-enabled devices. Combining PoE and non-PoE ports within the same unit makes them ideal for cost-conscious network environments.
Versatile Management Options
Deploy and manage your switches effortlessly through two modes: Instant On Cloud Management (via mobile app or web portal) or a built-in local web-based GUI. This dual-mode flexibility ensures simplified administration for various IT scenarios.
Built-in Security Enhancements
Secure your network with advanced protection features, including VLAN segmentation, automatic DoS (Denial-of-Service) defense, global storm control, and TPM-based hardware security. These features help prevent unauthorized access and keep your critical data safe.
Energy-Efficient Performance
Designed for energy savings, the 1830 switches include Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az), smart port power-off, fanless cooling (in select models), and low-noise operation. These features not only cut down on electricity costs but also support greener IT environments.
High-Performance SFP Fiber Uplinks
For enhanced bandwidth and long-distance performance, the 24- and 48-port versions feature two and four dedicated 1G SFP fiber uplink ports, respectively. These fiber ports help reduce network congestion and improve overall throughput.
PD-Powered Model for Simplified Installations
The 8-port non-PoE model supports power input via an upstream PoE switch or injector. This PD (Powered Device) functionality is ideal for tight spaces or locations with limited electrical access, reducing the need for additional power outlets and complex wiring.
